Materials: A map of the fairgrounds (see the Daily Schedule)
Fieldtrip schedule of events
Before the Fair
During the week before the fieldtrip, the students will "map out" an agenda for the day (make their own maps).
At the Fair
While at the fairgrounds, students will use their maps and take turns being the leader (w/ adult supervisor) and be in charge of getting their group from one place to the next at the
proper times.
After the Fair
After returning to the classroom, students will use a copy of the map of the fairgrounds to web activities of the places they went, and things they saw at the fair.
