Shocker Sunday - WSU Events

All day: Kids can participate in a Shocker scavenger hunt. Ask for a card at any entrance or stop by the Wichita State booth to pick one up. Prizes will be given to the first 500 kids who complete the scavenger hunt.

SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE:

8:30-4: Car show – Shocker Racing team be part of car show
9 a.m.: Wu and Ike at car show
10 a.m.: Shocker Sound to play at Gate #1
11 a.m.: Live radio show at House of Capper with Pat Strathman, voice of Shocker Softball and Women’s Basketball and special appearances by Shocker Sound and Shocker Spirit Squad
11:45 a.m.: Alumni + Friends Sunday Funday Social at Carrie's Beer Garden
- Scheduled to appear Wichita State University President Rick Muma, Athletic Director Kevin Saal, WSU Foundation and Alumni Engagement President and CEO Telly McGaha, Shocker basketball coaches Paul Mills and Terry Nooner, and Shocker baseball coach Brian Green.
12 p.m.: Brian Green, baseball coach will be a contestant in the Pronto Pup Eating Contest
2-3:30 p.m.: Shocker celebrity bingo callers! Bingo at the Encampment Building/Dillion Hall.
Autograph and photograph opportunities with Shocker athletes. Scheduled to appear, men’s baseball and men’s and women’s basketball teams.
